Building the future of Birmingham’s

tech workforce, together.

What is
iMeta’s Employer
Advisory
Board?

Our Employer Advisory Board is for local business owners and industry leaders who want to take the lead, share their insights, and directly influence the future of tech education in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Why Join
our Employer
Advisory Board?

iMeta believes educators and employers must work together to ensure that local training opportunities are giving students what they need to either get their first tech job or continue their progression in their tech career.

We want local businesses to be able to regularly recruit local talent with the skills they’re looking for and keep Brum in business.

The tech sector in Birmingham and the West Midlands grew by 8% in 2024

15,000 new jobs must be created to meet the tech needs of the region this year.

This is our challenge – are you ready to join us?

What
We
Do:

Collaborate: Connect to develop recruitment and training solutions for real-world workforce challenges.

Shape the Curriculum: Have our say on funded training programmes in the region and what local businesses need from educators.
